DARRAN is looking to fulfill the role of a Box Truck driver for delivery of parts between manufacturing plants and performing local pickup of materials. Truck drivers will be responsible for loading and unloading wood component parts and checking parts to ensure quality standards are met.

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Transport machined components, seating products and finished furniture in between facilities
• Assist in local pickups or deliveries as required with box truck
• Adhere to all NCDOT regulations
• Complete inspections & DOT logs on trucks used
• Assist in the loading and unloading of trailers
• Scan products out and into facilities as needed upon delivery
• Check parts to ensure quality standards are met and assist with inspection audits
• Flexibility to be cross trained to assist in other departments as needed

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Valid Driver’s License
• Forklift license (training available)
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Safe Driving Record
• Pass pre-employment drug test
• Pass pre-employment background check
• Pass pre-employment motor vehicle check
