Description
Furniture Manufacturing Company in High Point currently seeking a Packer.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Arrive at workstation on time.
- Make sure work area is clean and safety standards are followed.
- Ability to read ticket.
- Wrap unit with foam.
- Place foam around unit.
- Place straight pads and multi- purpose skirt if needed.
- Tape all pads down.
- Scan inspector label.
- Place top tray on.
- Strap unit with strapper, hand strapper or metal strap whichever is needed.
- Learn to use air lift.
- Works well with others.
- Will move around to different departments.
- Performs task with safety awareness.
- Performs task with quality standards.
