We are a furniture manufacturing company and we are currently seeking to fill a Customer Service position. See below for the essential duties, responsibilities, experience and skills needed for the position:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Communication via email, phone, and fax with field sales and customers.
- Assist Customers by answering product questions and providing price quotes on products.
- Assist Sales by promoting new products and programs.
- Develop strong Customer bonds by providing dependable service through communication timeliness, quote timeliness and overall understanding of product and processes.
- Provide leads and customer information to Internal and External Sales Departments, for project follow-up.
- Assist with the processing and proofing of orders to ensure correctness of goods and discount.
- Provide detailed shipping information to customers when requested and schedule critical orders as needed with Manufacturing.
- First line contact on Freight and Warranty issues.
Knowledge / Experience / Skills:
- High School Diploma Required, Degree from Accredited University preferred.
- 3+ years of customer service experience
- Experience in Furniture Manufacturing / Office Furniture preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
- Experience with CAP/Giza, 20/20 preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
- Strong qualities of adaptability, dependability and professionalism required
- Ability to multi task
Required experience:
Furniture Industry: 1 year (preferred)
Customer Service: 3 years
