Description
We are a furniture manufacturing company and we are currently seeking to fill a Customer Service position. See below for the essential duties, responsibilities, experience and skills needed for the position: 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Communication via email, phone, and fax with field sales and customers.
  • Assist Customers by answering product questions and providing price quotes on products.
  • Assist Sales by promoting new products and programs.
  • Develop strong Customer bonds by providing dependable service through communication timeliness, quote timeliness and overall understanding of product and processes.
  • Provide leads and customer information to Internal and External Sales Departments, for project follow-up.
  • Assist with the processing and proofing of orders to ensure correctness of goods and discount.
  • Provide detailed shipping information to customers when requested and schedule critical orders as needed with Manufacturing.
  • First line contact on Freight and Warranty issues.

Knowledge / Experience / Skills:

  • High School Diploma Required, Degree from Accredited University preferred.
  • 3+ years of customer service experience
  • Experience in Furniture Manufacturing / Office Furniture preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Experience with CAP/Giza, 20/20 preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Strong qualities of adaptability, dependability and professionalism required
  • Ability to multi task

Required experience:
Furniture Industry: 1 year (preferred)
Customer Service: 3 years
